The opening ceremony of the “Russian Book House” was held in the city of Kapan

initiated by the “Russian Book House” in Yerevan.

Mher Avetisyan, Founder of the “House of Russian Book” in Armenia, believes that Syunik is the very place where the Armenian-Russian friendship and allied relations between Armenia and Russia should be deeply understood.

In the opinion of Igor Maslov, Head of the Russian President’s Department for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, the ” Russian Book House” is another opportunity to get acquainted with the Russian culture. He stressed that the cultures of the Russian and Armenian peoples are linked and interrelated.

In his turn, Mayor of Kapan Gevorg Parsyan noted that he highly appreciates the relations between the Russian and Armenian nations. He said the opening of the House, once again proves the friendship of the two nations and is a wonderful example of intercultural relations.
